On July 23rd 2015, Surfrider Foundation Oahu Chapter and Sustaianble Coastlines Hawai‘i volunteers strutted their stuff in front of Walmart Honolulu to protest their's and other local stores blatant disregard for the intentions of the plastic bag ban. Using green washing and false messages, they shamefully present their thicker plastic bags as being sustainable. This nonsense has to stop, no more #SkirtingTheLaw. We must become a reusable society to stop this gargantuan plastic pollution problem from suffocating our oceans. Rise Above Plastics and lets all be part of the solution. WIth much aloha from Oahu.
